At the event, Political Capital will present its new research on anti-gender and anti-LGBTQI mobilisation in Hungary and Poland, followed by two panel discussions with civil society and liberal party representatives from the two countries. While the research focused on the evolvement of the mobilisation (i.e., its narratives, domestic actors, their international networks), the discussions will centre around the question on how to counter it at the level of civil society, politics and policies.
17:00-17:15: Welcoming remarks and presentation of the research
17:15-18:10: Panel discussion of civil society actors (Panellists to be announced later)
18:10-19:00: Panel discussion of politicians (Panellists to be announced later)
The event is part of the project “Countering anti-gender and anti-LGBTIQ mobilisation in Hungary and Poland through cross-border research, networking and dialogue”, supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
